FAQ

The questions we actually get asked

What exactly do I have to send you?
One clear phone photo of the product on a plain background, and its real dimensions. More angles (left, right, back) make a better model, but the front shot alone is enough to start. No studio, no scanner, no shipping the product anywhere.
How long does one product take?
Usually under an hour from photo to a viewable 3D model. A full catalog depends on size — we agree a delivery schedule with you before starting, and you see previews as they land.
Does my customer need to install an app?
No. AR runs in the browser: Quick Look on iPhone and Scene Viewer on Android. They tap a link or scan a QR code and the product appears on their table at real size.
Will this work with my Shopify store?
Yes, and it's already live. Our app writes GLB and USDZ files into Shopify's native 3D media gallery, so 3D and AR show up in your normal product gallery. This works on any plan, including a trial — a trial only locks checkout, so you'll need a paid plan to take real orders.
I don't use Shopify. Can I still use this?
Yes. You get a hosted product page and a QR code that work on their own, and an embed snippet you can paste into any website, WooCommerce store, or a printed menu or shelf label.
How accurate is the size?
We scale every model to the real measurements you provide, and AR places it at that exact size in the room. Getting scale right is the whole point — it's what turns "looks nice" into "that fits on my counter".
What does it cost?
There's a free tier so you can generate and view a model before paying anything. Beyond that we quote per catalog rather than charging a monthly subscription or a fee per model, because a 12-product menu and a 400-SKU catalog are not the same job. Send us your catalog size and you get a fixed number back.
Who owns the 3D models?
You do. They're your products. You get the GLB and USDZ files and can host them yourself, keep them if you leave, or hand them to another agency.
